💦Water Resource💦

Not even a single drop of rainwater should be allowed to flow into the sea without being used for the benefit of people.”
Through this statement made by King Parakramabahu, we are given an important lesson about the value of water.
Water is essential for the existence of life in the world. Humans, animals, and plants all depend on water. Although water is a valuable resource, only a very small portion of it is suitable for human consumption. When referring to Sri Lanka, water distribution varies by region, with some areas having an abundance of water while others face scarcity. In certain regions, people have to travel to other places to obtain water.
Therefore, those who have easy access to water often do not understand its true value. As a result, they use water without thinking about the future .Out of jealousy toward their neighbors, some people collect water excessively. As a result, in some households, water is wasted. The value of water is not understood by others in society as much as it is by those who do not have access to it. Therefore, let us conserve water, thinking not only about the future of humans but also about the survival of animals and the natural environment. 💧
